Today’s topic covers Matt’s method on how to get a girlfriend as an introvert – because being an introvert is absolutely NOT an excuse for having a crappy dating life:
HOW TO GET A GIRLFRIEND AS AN INTROVERT
DO not BELIEVE the lie that Hollywood has fed you is that introverts CAN’T flirt or that flirting has to be some super high-energy experience.
Flirting can be done low energy, high energy, it can be done when you’re bored, excited, whatever. In your case, you’re more laid back, chilled, and lower energy. So the question becomes, how do you harness that chilled lower energy into something that is attractive to the opposite sex?
Don’t overthink it. Just flirt.
The act of flirting is to subtly express your interest in the other person. That’s it. You dont need fancy tricks or one liners, expensive clothes or explosive energy… just a pair of balls for 10 seconds, enough to say “Hey I thought you were cute.”
What you’ll find when you do this is that your flirting might not be as loud, or fun as extroverted flirting. But you’ll come off as more chill, cool, and down to earth.
And when has that been a bad thing?
This style of flirting will stand out to ANY girl looking for an introverted guy. Look at how a guy like Tom Hiddleston talks to women. He’s calm, he’s relaxed, but he’s also a bit playful. Now compare him with Russel Brand who’s high-energy who’s all over the place. Women love him, sure. But they wanna go to bed with Tom Hiddleston too.
You’re also gonna wanna make it easy for introverted girls to find you.
A LOT of introverts make the huge mistake of thinking they have to try and be like their extroverted friends.
This is a big screw-up, as you’re going to do a bad extrovert impression, and tell all the cute introverted girls you’re NOT the guy they want.
Embrace what you are, and rock it.
Now as an Introvert I know that you probably won’t be the type of person that can be found in bars, clubs or parties, so the question that naturally comes up is “How do I land a date, if I’m not partying with other people”
The most successful introvert I know has an insane dating life and he never steps foot in any of those … Instead, he goes to yoga classes, rock climbing, and art gallery openings. And other chilled out places for easy 1 on 1 conversation. Nobody is chugging beer or being ‘the life of the party.’
Instead, find places where women are going to share your mutual interests.
- Dance classes
- Rock climbing
- Wine tastings
- Art galleries
- Dog parks
And when you spot that hot girl, you just have to focus on being honest about your interest
In the end it really comes down to one thing , though you might not like it… But you have to make a move.
I know. Making a move is scary. It involves facing a bit of anxiety and nerves. Extroverted people experience this too – in fact, it’s the one obstacle you’ll face in dating regardless of what your personality is like.
So don’t use being an introvert as an excuse. You’ll know how to get a girlfriend as an introvert isn’t as hard as you think it is.
You’ve just got to do it. Don’t be a pussy.
Don’t try to be someone else. Embrace who you are. Embrace your introversion. And you will have a better dating life.
